Building Tables

This morning I came across a provocative thought in my twitter feed: “No longer asking for a seat at the table. Time to build my own.”

And it landed in a way that most tweets don’t. These two statements didn’t just resonate. Rather, they went straight to work: on me and in me.  They are at work right now.

“No longer asking for a seat at the table…

Time to build my own.”

I want to meditate on those for a time. Seems I’ve been planning and designing for quite a while now.  It’s time to build that table of my own.
